Meet Our Goats
About the Goats
Our goats…our goat herd is an eclectic blend of dairy breeds mixed with a little Boer! We do have a herd of true pure Boer goats, but we do breed our dairy girls with Boer billies to produce nice big, stocky milk goats. Everyone is named, they don’t necessarily know their name, but I do. Makes it much easier for me to identify a goat than just a number.

What Type of Goats?
Some of our dairy girls are Toggenberg, Alpine, Nubian, and Saanen, all very good milk producers and excellent mothers! Dairy breeds are generally taller and lighter than meat goats, our kids get the best of both worlds, large frames with good muscle mass and the ability to produce a good supply of milk.
How Many Goats?
We currently have 21 breeding does, 2 billies, and about a dozen half grown does. Our numbers fluctuate during the year, we had 50 kids born in 2021, goats everywhere!
As to the Goat Gallery below…. I am not a goat…lol! Still working on mastering how to edit these things!
